What We Offer

(Online or In-person in Ventura, CA)

Private Music Lessons
One-on-one music instruction tailored to the student’s goals, pace, and learning style. For example, sessions can focus on:

  • Voice
  • Piano
  • Guitar
  • Songwriting
  • Music theory
  • Creative exploration
  • Your Choice

Small Group Classes
Collaborative spaces where students learn together, build confidence, and experience music as relationship rather than performance. Groups are intentionally small and supportive.

Community-Based Music Programs
We partner with public, private, and charter schools, homeschooling co-ops, community centers, and organizations serving underserved populations to bring music education directly to people who are most often excluded from it.

Consultations for Independent Musical Artists
We help you understand contracts, copyright, distribution options, collaborations, and the practical decisions that shape your work and your future. We explain things in plain language, and help you make choices that honor your art.

Access & Equity

Music Debut strives to remove barriers. We offer:

  • Sliding-scale pricing
  • Scholarships and sponsored placements
  • Community-funded lesson programs
  • Outreach in spaces where music education is rarely available

Our Approach

At Music Debut, lessons are not about fast-tracking performance. They are about giving people access to expression, agency, and connection through sound.

Our music lessons and programs are designed for:

  • Children and teens discovering music for the first time
  • Adults returning to music after years away
  • Beginners who were told they were “not musical”
  • Neurodivergent learners and students with different learning styles
  • Anyone who wants a safe, affirming place to explore sound

Learning with us is flexible, responsive, and respectful of each individual.

Students are invited to:

  • Follow interests and emotional connections to music
  • Learn technique in context, when it supports expression
  • Reflect on their experience rather than perform for evaluation

Growth shows up as engagement, confidence, curiosity, and a desire to return to music.

We encourage learners to develop their own voice — whether that means playing covers, composing, improvising, or simply learning to listen more deeply.
